Diaphragm pumps mainly use diaphragms made of rubber, PTFE, F46 and other materials for medium isolation and pump sealing. According to power source, they are mainly divided into electric diaphragm pumps and pneumatic diaphragm pumps.
DBY motor‑driven diaphragm pump features self‑priming capability with no priming water required. Its theoretical clean‑water suction lift ranges from 4‑5.5 m. It provides good solid‑particle passing performance. The diaphragm completely separates conveyed media from transmission mechanical components to avoid leakage. Diaphragm material must be selected according to process media; available materials include Neoprene, NBR, EPDM, PTFE, FEP and others.

Applications:
Applications:
• All kinds of highly toxic, volatile liquid. For flammable liquids, explosion‑proof motor version is required.
• All kinds of strong acid, strong alkali, strong corrosive liquid (temperature limited by diaphragm material).
• Suitable as filter press feeding pressure delivery device.
• Hot water recovery and recycling (max media temperature depends on diaphragm material).
• Oil depot and oil‑handling service: explosion‑proof motor is mandatory for flammable oil.
• Food‑grade media such as pickles, mashed potatoes, chocolate, require food‑grade wetted components.
• Transfer paint, gum, pigment adhesive.
• Suitable for porcelain glaze, cement grouting mortar and mud.
• Transfer rubber pulp, latex, organic solvents, fillers (explosion‑proof motor required for solvents).
• Clear and absorb waste water and residual oil in tanker barges.
• Transfer thin pulp, baking powder, syrup and sugar density media.
• Transfer mine‑tunnel sewage, sewer sewage and sediment.⚠️ Important Note: DBY electric diaphragm pump is strictly forbidden to run dry. Media temperature is determined by diaphragm material; 150℃ is only achievable with PTFE/FEP diaphragm.
